Fourmost Films and Hella Music completed filming The Business with a trip to Derby to interview esteemed producer Baby J. The finished film, to be shown in schools across the country, provides valuable insight into the range of careers available within the music industry and features exclusive advice from BBC Radio 1xtra's DJ Semtex and G Child.

The Worlds First Sand Hotel
Promo video

Tim and Dan spent 8 days in sunny Weymouth this month to shoot the construction of The Worlds First Sand Hotel. Commissioned by LateRooms.com, the structure was created by local sand sculptor Mark Anderson and took over 1000 tons of the golden grainy stuff to build.

Regenerating The History of Sneinton
Documentary

A short film exploring how landscapes earmarked for regeneration have already been singled out by a history of medieval villagers, aristocratic landholders and Victorian jerry-builders. Narration by Historian Chris Matthews, music by The Soundcarriers and camera work by Fourmost Films.

New Short!
Perry Fitzpatrick as Marley in A Dog's Best Friend

Fourmost Films has joined forces with current members of The Television Workshop, Nottingham to produce A Dog's Best Friend. The Team spent a week working on this two and a half minute short and submitted it to The Virgin Media, Short Film Competion.

Fourmost Goes To Town!
The view from the Fourmost Films new offices

Fourmost embarked on "the big move" this month to our lovely new offices in Nottingham city centre. They say moving house is supposed to be one of the most stressful experiences you can go through in life... we found it quite fun to be fair!

Two weeks in, we are still grafting away, painting, sanding and filling, but we're on course for the grand opening in late May.

Launching in 2008, the Fourmost Films "Vodcast" service will act as a platform for creative individuals involved in the local and national film Industry. We aim to give insight into the thriving East Midlands independent film scene and showcase the very best of new and established talent in our monthly service.

Tim took the camera out this month to shoot The Worlds Largest Remote Control Car, on location at Rockingham Castle, Leicestershire and Cranfield University in Bedfordshire. He came back to the office both times, chuffed to bits because he managed to wangle a cheeky test drive.

Tim's back at the BBC

Fourmost founder, Tim Smith was filming in Brum this week, acting out the role of Zac Little in BBC's day time drama series Doctors. It's his third time on the show...

Tim said, "Nice to be back at Doctors, at least I don't die this time."
